Wednesday April 14, 2010 MISS BRIDGEPORT 2010 TO BE CROWNED ON MAY 15 BRIDGEPORT, NJ (April 14, 2010) - On Saturday, May 15 at Bridgeport Speedway, a crowning will occur as the 2010 Miss Bridgeport Beauty Pageant will be held during the evening’s racing program. “We are very excited to have a Miss Bridgeport competition for 2010,” commented promoter Jessica James. “The winner will be participating in many on and off track activities including nightly 50-50s and appearances at various promotional activities. This should be a very entertaining contest.”
Each entrant in the pageant will have a personal interview. Judges will score contestants on personality, poise and appearance. Entry forms are now available by contacting the speedway office at 302-875-4197 or jjames27@aol.com. Interested applicants are required to pre-register by May 5 and must be at least 18 years of age to enter.
Bridgeport Speedway provides a safe and secure family atmosphere, free parking, giveaways and fan participation games. Billed ‘The Fastest Dirt Track in the East’, Bridgeport Speedway is a banked 5/8th mile dirt oval, featuring a dirt 1/4 mile oval embedded in the center, and is located in Southern New Jersey -- just minutes from Pennsylvania and Delaware at exit 14 off of I-295.
