General

Can I bring a cooler to the race?

Yes, however it must measure no larger than 14" X 14" X 14" and contain no glass. Only one cooler per ticket holder in the grandstands. Seating at some events may not allow coolers in the stands.

Can I bring alcoholic beverages in a cooler to the Speedway?

Alcoholic Beverages are NOT permitted on the Bridgeport Speedway grounds.

How soon before the race should I plan on arriving at the Speedway?

Give yourself enough travel time, as well as additional time to stroll about the display areas set up around the speedway.

How long will it take me to get home after the race?

Take into consideration the number of people attending the event. Obviously, the more people and cars the longer it will take you to get home. Also, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF THE PARKING ATTENDANTS, which will aid in getting everyone home quicker.

Can I use my cell phone at the speedway?

You can use your cell phone at the speedway, but keep in mind that access declines as the number of people attending an event increases. Do not rely on your cell phone if you need to relay or receive important information.

Are there ATM machines at the Speedway?

ATM Machines are NOT located on Speedway Grounds. Also, few Speedway Accommodations accept Debit Cards -- Prepare with enough cash!

What are the rules and regulations for the pit area?

All individuals in the pit area must be at least 16 years of age or older. No open-toe shoes or clothing with vulgar language is allowed. There is no admittance in the pit area if the code is not followed.

How do I get drivers' autographs?

Drivers are frequently featured in the grandstand area. The top five finishers in all feature events report behind the grandstands (with their dirty machines) to greet fans and sign autographs.

Is there a designated area to park a motorcycle?

There is Front Spot by the front gates for Motorcycles.

Where can I rest my feet when visiting the Midway?

The Covered Pavilion is a great place for fans to 'hang-out' prior to race activities. Our group of Pavilion regulars will surely inform you of all the action at the Bridgeport Speedway.

Ticketing and Credentials

Where do I pick up tickets?

Tickets can be picked up (or purchased) at the speedway's ticket office until the day of the event.

Where do I pick up credentials?

Credentials can be picked up at the Ticket Office. Credentials must be reserved in advance by sending a written request to: The Bridgeport Speedway Corporate Office, 2272 Wehr Road, Allentown, PA 18104 or by e-mail [email protected]

Can I buy passes to get into the pits?

Pit Passes are available for EVERY Bridgeport Speedway Event. However, the pit area is considered "HOT" at all times. General Fans are not recommended to participate pit side.

Handicap Accessibility

Is handicap seating available?

The Bridgeport Speedway seeks to provide reasonable accommodations for all qualified individuals with disabilities. Please contact the speedway office at (610) 398-4923 to arrange for appropriate accommodations and seating.

What facilities are available for handicap parking?

Handicap Parking spaces exist on the front rows of the main parking lot and in the pit area for participants. These spaces, like most public parking areas, are for Handicap Individuals ONLY and are available on a first-come, first served basis.

Access to these areas requires a Certified Handicap Placard that is displayed prominently on the vehicle for inspection, and must be assigned to one of the occupants of the vehicle being parked.

Once all marked spaces have been filled, Handicap Patrons will be allowed to park anywhere within the VIP parking area in space available. Security personnel assigned to monitor marked Handicap parking areas will be issuing City Citations to those found in violation.

If I cannot walk the distance from the parking area to the gates and back, who can assist me?

Contact the Speedway Office at (610) 398-4923. Inform them of the situation and proper arrangements will be organized.
